HOW TO SEARCH THE ENZYME

The enzyme information can be searched by simply providing the alphabet (a, b...z) in the search check box. All the enzyme names available in the data base starts with the specific alphabet will show the information. No enzyme name except the features is shown means no enzyme information is available.

The following faetures are available for an enzyme

ACCN NO: A reference number of an entry

NAME: Name of the enzyme

E.C NUMBER: Enzyme Comission number available for the enzyme

REACTION: The basic catalyzation reaction of the enzyme

PATHWAY (Hyperlinked): Link to the respective data base of metabolic pathway

STRUCTURE: Provides the available 3D structure of the enzyme in the Protein Data Bank (PDB)

REFERENCE (Hyperlinked): Direct link to bibliography (Pubmed /other reference site) for the particular enzyme

TOXICITY PROFILE (Hyperlinked): It provides the available toxicity profile (human/non-human toxicity) of the substrate catalysed by the enzymes with references.
